M109G Panzerartillerie Batterie

Each Panzer Brigade and Panzergrenadier Brigade was supported by its own Panzerartillerie Bataillon (Armoured Artillery Battalion) equipped with M109G Panzer-haubitze (armoured howitzer).

These were refitted US M109A1 self-propelled guns with a new muzzle brake, improved breech, panoramic telescope and armoured targeting scope.

Alternatively, you could choose to paint your M109G battery in the older Bundeswehr colour scheme of all-over Gelboliv (olive yellow) using Sherman Drab Cobra Drab (321).

The Bundeswehr started transitioning to three-colour NATO camouflage in the early 1980s, but there were still examples of overall Gelboliv as late as 1989.
